Privacy policy
Last updated 10 August 2026
This policy covers Best Pizza Malta at https://bestpizzamalta.com and nothing else. It is written for this site and describes only what this site does.
Who is responsible
Best Pizza Malta is the data controller for the processing described here. Contact: editor@bestpizzamalta.com.
What is collected without consent
Nothing beyond what is technically necessary to serve the page. The site is a set of static files. No account, no login, no newsletter, no comments, no contact form. Standard server request logs are kept by the hosting provider for security and troubleshooting and are not used to build a profile of you.
What is collected only with consent
Advertising and audience measurement load only after you accept them in the cookie banner. If you reject, or ignore the banner, neither is requested and no cookie is set by them.
- Advertising
- Google AdSense. Google and its ad-technology partners may set cookies and process identifiers to select and measure advertising. Legal basis: your consent (GDPR Article 6(1)(a)).
- Audience measurement
- Aggregate page and referrer counts. No cross-site tracking, no advertising identifiers, no sale of data. Legal basis: your consent.
Cookies
One first-party value, bpm.consent.v1, is stored in your browser to remember your answer to the banner. It contains the word granted or denied and nothing else. Any further cookies are set by the advertising and measurement services above, and only after consent.
Withdrawing consent
Clear this site's data in your browser settings and the banner will appear again on your next visit, letting you choose differently. Consent is as easy to withdraw as it is to give.
Transfers outside the EEA
If you accept advertising, Google may process data outside the EEA under its own safeguards. See Google's privacy documentation for the detail. Reject advertising and no such transfer takes place through this site.
Retention
This site keeps no personal database. Server logs are retained by the host on its standard schedule. Consent is stored locally in your own browser until you clear it.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and object to processing. Write to editor@bestpizzamalta.com. You may also complain to the Information and Data Protection Commissioner in Malta.
Children
This site is not directed at children and does not knowingly process their data.
Changes
Material changes to this policy will be reflected in the date at the top. The current version is dated 10 August 2026.
Note
This document describes actual site behaviour and is not legal advice. Have it reviewed before launch, and update it whenever an advertising or measurement vendor is added or removed.
